Flat & Jumps Schooling Day​

Larkhill Racecourse invite owners and trainers to a unique opportunity to school  on Larkhill Racecourse on Tue 28th March 2023 from 10.00am to 2.00pm . This end of season offer takes advantage of near perfect conditions on one of the  best Point to Point courses in the country, for those who wish to train on the flat and over jumps: 

Flat Schooling at £45.00 per horse. 

3 miles (or less as required) over good going, on level ground with an  excellent covering of grass running to the left of all fences. 

Jumps Schooling at £55.00 per horse.  

3 miles (or less as required) over good going, on level ground with an  excellent covering of grass includes 18 x Fences and 2 x Open Ditches. 

A paramedic and vet will be present throughout. 

GOOD going, with more rain forecast.  

For entries and enquiries please contact The Clerk of the Course.  Entries close at 6.00pm on Sat 25th March 2023. Schooling times from  10.00am to 2.00pm will be issued after entries close.  

Subject to Weather, Going and sufficient Entries to cover costs  (paramedic, vet etc) on the day.  

Welfare of horses remains paramount.  

Health and Safety

Larkhill Racecourse Executive has done everything possible to make your visit  to Larkhill Racecourse as safe as possible. To assist us in this endeavour you  are asked to: 

  • Promptly observe all safety information and instructions given verbally by  racecourse officials.
  • Take note of and obey all safety signs.
  • Collect mounted in your training string, in the paddock.
  • Stay off the racecourse  until called forward by a Paddock Steward.
  • In the event of an accident or emergency, or if you see something that you  consider to be unsafe, please contact a racecourse official immediately.
  • Keep all marked emergency access routes and entry points clear.

All persons attending the end of season schooling session do so at their own  risk. The Racecourse Committee and organisers accept no responsibility. 

FIRST AID POINT IS LOCATED IN THE MEDICAL ROOM ON THE GROUND  FLOOR OF THE QUEEN’S BUILDING.
